The WSBE17 Conference in Hong Kong was a major success

The WSBE17 Conference was held as scheduled in Hong Kong during the period 5-7 June. About 1800 people attended, including delegates, students and representatives of the SBE16 conferences. The event was meticulously organized by HKG GBC with a large contingent of scientific, professional and administrative staff and volunteers, and those of us who were involved in the organization of the series as a whole are grateful to our HKG colleagues for this very major achievement and of its excellent content. We will provide more details and photos next week.

Request for Expressions of Interest to hold national or regional conferences on Sustainable Built Environment in 2019 - Second Call

As part of the on-going SBE Conference series, CIB, iiSBE, UNEP-SBCI, FIDIC and the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GABC) invite non-binding Expression of Interest (EOI) for the holding of national or regional conferences on sustainable built environment to be held in 2019. We welcome expressions of interest that include research-based organizations in a leadership role and also support from major professional associations in the country or region. We have extended the call for EOIs until 30 June, so ignore the earlier June date in the EOI. Please also note that the RFP that is available for reference has been modified.
