UPDATE: iiSBE short survey for COP21

UPDATE: We have completed the pilot survey and you can download a copy of the report.

iiSBE staff have developed a survey in anticipation of the COP21 meetings in Paris. iiSBE has no official status at that huge and important event, but we will have some access to the outer circle of civil society groups.

The purpose of the survey is to solicit views from our key members and contacts on the possible measures that could be implemented in their regions to reduce the impact of the built environment on climate change. The results will be analyzed and a short report prepared during November.

iiSBE launches its international survey on GHG reductions

iiSBE has launched an international survey on reduction of greenhouse gas emissions within the built environment sector. The survey is intended to provide a perspective on the effectiveness of actions that may reduce the emission of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). We hope to make it available to many individuals around the world who are engaged in the production of building materials or equipment, the design of buildings and infrastructure or the operation of completed structures or buildings.

SBE partners launch international survey on effective climate change measures

CIB, UNEP-SBCI and FIDIC have decided to develop and implement a large-scale international survey on effective climate change mitigation measures in 2016. The content will benefit from the experience of the small pilot survey carried out by iiSBE in late 2015.
