iiSBE provides donation for Typhoon Hayian recovery

The iiSBE Board authorized a contribution of $1000 CAD to go to efforts in the Philippines to recover from the recent typhoon in late November. Greg Foliente, who knows the region well, suggested that Habitat for Humanity would make good use of the money. Below is the acknowledgement from Habitat for Humanity.

Thank you for your recent donation of $1,000 to help Habitat for Humanity Canada in our efforts to support those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Without our donors we could not achieve our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, especially in these times of urgent need.

Your donation will go towards:
· The distribution of 30,00 shelter kits
· The distribution of 50,000 clean up kits
· Building 10,000 core homes
· Ongoing support of Habitat for Humanity in the Philippines to help those affected by the Typhoon.

We genuinely appreciate your contribution to help those affected by the Typhoon in the Philippines. Your contribution today not only helps with immediate support, but also helps provide a brighter future.

Yours in partnership,

Kevin Marshman
