Two files on Pandemics and Built Environment are released

iiSBE has now released a final text version of the report on Pandemics and the Built Environment, plus a PPT presentation file. The documents have been prepared for two separate events:

The first event is a webinar that took place on 01 July, with iiSBE presenting the PPT overview to 30+ students are masters in architecture, urban and industrial design from China, Germany, Italy and Mexico.

The second related event (PPT still in preparation) will be a preparatory webinar of the 15th Annual Session of Global Forum on Human Settlements (GFHS 2020) will be organized for 4-6 PM Beijing time on July 10 to address urgent issues centered around "Strategies for fighting epidemics: adaptable buildings and resilient cities”.

Well-known experts will share insights on and provide an in-depth look at, from the perspective of planning, design, operation and management, how buildings and cities can improve their safety, flexibility, adaptability, resilience and sustainability, so as to achieve the goal of meaningful transformation and revitalization in all shocks and crises. The webinar is designed to inspire practical solutions and actions in support of better recovery and sustainability changes, and to contribute to the success of the 15th Annual Session of Global Forum on Human Settlements.
