15 July 2014: At a recent meeting of the partners and advisors in Paris, four proposals to host the next global event in the SB conference series were reviewed. After detailed discussions, the proposal submitted by Hong Kong was selected.

Submitted by admin on Sat, 03/01/2014 - 00:00The last series of national and regional SB Conferences has recently concluded with sixteen SB13 events. The World SB14 Barcelona Conference, www.wsb14barcelona.org will take place on 28 to 30 October 2014 and promises to achieve an even higher profile.
SB Conference series wins CIB award
Submitted by nlarsson on Fri, 08/09/2013 - 15:11At the CIB World Building Congress, held during 5-6 May in Brisbane Australia, the Triennial CIB Construction & Society Award was awarded for the first time, and the SB Conference series was the recipient. The four international promoters of the series are CIB, iiSBE, UNEP-SBCI and FIDIC.
The award citation states that … the SB Conference series embodies everything that the CIB aims to achieve in promoting research and innovation that is to the benefit of society...
The award was accepted on behalf the international partners by Chrisna du Plessis (South Africa) and Vanessa Gomes (Brazil).
